God, you're literally the only person who does the sound test for the buttons out of ALL the youtubers covering this product, so thanks a lot. Seems like they're made with regular mouse switches, which is fine I guess. I was afraid that all the buttons are going to be as loud as pressing down on the knob (pretty loud!), but I'm glad they're not all as loud as that.

Canon should make their 50mm available as a kit lens, but then no one would actually buy the 18-55...

I hope mirrorless doesn't kill DSLR. I like a real viewfinder! An EVF just isn't as good, unless you spend over 1K on the body...And even then, they drain the battery a lot more than shooting with a viewfinder. Thankfully, you can get a converter to use EF lenses on mirrorless mounts, but you cannot do the opposite...So if you get into mirrorless and buy lenses, and then (for some reason) get a DSLR, those mirrorless lenses will never work with it.

I can't manual focus to save my life as my eyesight isn't very good but I love the retro look of film images!

They've both gotten a bit of a price drop recently. Does this mean an fx6 and fx3 mark ii at some point?

How is the calibration process? Colour and gamma accuracy is IMO the most important thing with any monitor so would be great if you could try performing the calibration and speak to the effectiveness of the process. Thanks

The best thing about the MKH 50 is you buy it once and you probably won't ever need to upgrade it for your entire videography career. Just picked one up a while back and i'm so glad I did

Just purchased this lens. Just bought a Sony A7C. I do street photography and live between 35-50mm focal lengths. Other than doing street portraits I don Know how I’ll use this lens. I will have to take photos further away from my subjects than I’m use to. A few benefits of this lens are the size and weight. This lens is at the limits of the A7C. Hi rudy, im looking for some suggestions. I'm in need of ultrawide, 29inch will be a sweep spot for me. Concerns are - they are mostly available in 2560x1080 resolution giving out 96ppi. 1. Will that be easy on eyes ? 2. at arm's distance is text pixelated ?. Are you able to read text (for 6-8 hours a day) at that distance comfortably ? Also, i'll be using it in grayscale mode and in split screen. so what options do you suggest ? Should i go for VA (as major use wll be in monochromatic mode) or IPS. Budget is a concern. Also, typing this from 15 inch 109ppi laptop screen. so u have an idea of the kind of upgrade experience i can have.
